We did backpack camping when we hiked the Narrows in Zion a couple years ago, but we only stayed one night in the narrows, so we didn't need to figure out multiple meals - only dinner and oatmeal for breakfast. Packing for this trip - especially figuring out the food part was a little more challenging.
It felt like the equivalent to finding Willy Wonka's golden ticket - a reservation for a weekend to camp at highly sought after Havasupai falls. It was hot, the hike was tough, but that turquoise blue water...100% worth it.
This December, I took a road trip with the family from LA to Antelope Canyon and the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Although my parents had been to both places multiple times, these sites have been on my bucket list for some time. I hope these photos will inspire you to visit these places as well!
