Hi, I’m Heather!
I guess we’ll start with the basics, it seems like I’ve never stayed in one place for too long. Born in Pennsylvania, grew up predominantly in Florida (but, not without moving around a few times), and later ended up in sunny San Diego in the middle of high school. Since then, I lived in a LA for college and a few years after, but more recently, call San Francisco, “home”.
When I’m not number crunching at my day job, I’m dreaming up my next destination, whether it be near or far. My trips have given me the opportunity to learn about new cultures, meet new people, and grow as an individual. My friends would describe me as a little ‘Monk’-ish – inflexible at times, cautious and having germaphobe leanings. It has taught me to be more flexible, take chances (measured risks, of course), to slow down, and accept that I’m going to get a little dirty.
It’s only wanderlust if you only dream about that journey, wayfaring is actually taking it – so wayfare with This Wayfarer!
